 Time: 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Location: OSU Wexner Medical Center, Health Community Center, 1600 E. Long Street, Columbus, OH  43203

Human trafficking is a pressing issue that impacts communities everywhere. Join us for an afternoon of education, awareness, and empowerment as we:

  • Host a 45-minute panel discussion with experts and advocates.

  • Present a powerful simulation activity titled "Do You Stay or Do You Go?"

  • Share resources at informational tables to help identify and combat human trafficking.

Together, we can learn how to detect, prevent, and advocate for those affected by this global crisis. Let’s create a safer, more informed community.

This event is free and open to the public. Spread the word, and let’s take a stand against human trafficking.  bit.ly/3U4Y3Ey

Crossfit Blue Ash 12 HEROES benefiting She Has A Name

What is 12 HEROES? Simply put, it's 12 HERO workouts in 12 hours!

What's a HERO workout? A HERO wod is a challenging CrossFit workout that honors fallen service members or first responders. The tradition has been around since 2008 and is a way to pay tribute to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

Why 12 HEROES? One of our coaches felt led to bring 12 HEROES to CFBA after learning of the event, originated by CrossFit O.U.R. We loved the concept & cause so much that we were granted permission from CrossFit O.U.R. to host our own variation of the event.

IMPORTANT:

  • There will be a minimum $10 donation fee for all participating athletes.

  • Participation fees and additional donations will be accepted via cash or Venmo (@crossfitblueash) and 100% of all participation fees and additional donations will go directly to She Has a Name.

  • This event is open to the PUBLIC. You do NOT need to be a CFBA member to participate.

  • You do NOT need to perform all 12 workouts to participate. You can do as many or as few as you would like.

  • We also encourage and welcome spectators.

  • A limited number of spots will be reserved for each hero WOD.

  • You will have the option to partner for the workouts or perform them alone.

  • SAFETY & RECOVERY of participating athletes will be a focus of this event. We intend to keep all athletes free from injury. We will do what we can to ensure we have the recovery tools and vendors on-site for participants but we encourage all athletes to be smart when tackling each workout and the day.
